Over the past 15 years, Ms. Rosen has had experience as a special and general education teacher, a private learning services provider, a SEIT, a SETSS provider and an educational consultant. Ms. Rosen has experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including children in GAT programs and children with dyslexia, ADHD, executive function challenges, PDD, receptive and expressive language challenges, NVLD, learning disabilities and visual & auditory impairments. With a strong background in the arts, Ms. Rosen also writes Broadway-style musical puppet productions that address various themes in children's lives. Ms. Rosen loves the challenge of catering to a child's unique academic, social, physical, creative, cognitive and emotional needs. She created Concerning Learning so that young New Yorkers could explore learning in a creative way.
Ms. Rosen personally conducts all evaluations/consultations and based on her assessment she creates a set of learning goals. She then selects a talented member of the Concerning Learning tutoring team to work with your child based on his or her personality, learning style and area of support.
